Explosiveness
Ben Simmons is one of the most explosive athletes in the NBA today. He has recorded most of his points off driving to the basket. He is very good at blowing by defenders because of his speed and acceleration off the dribble.
He also has no problem dunking and finishing with contact. Even while standing still and in post up scenarios, he can explode up and dunk over defenders. His vertical is also very high for such a tall athlete. A table of the average verticals compared to Ben Simmons is shown below.
